Rebecca Tennille

In 1992, Native Texan Rebecca Tennille moved to Little Rock upon graduation from Baylor University and started her career as a writer and researcher for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, the statewide daily newspaper. With a strong foundation in journalism, Rebecca specializes in effective and concise communications strategies that help clients tell their stories.

Prior to starting JPJ Consulting with partner Jordan Johnson, Rebecca served as a senior public policy and public relations account executive for CJRW. While at CJRW, Rebecca worked the 50th anniversary event in remembrance of the integration of Little Rock Central High School. Providing communications, planning, and logistics support, she and Jordan oversaw the 2011 celebration commemorating the 20th anniversary of President Clinton’s announcement to run for President of the United States and the grand opening ceremony of the Presidential Bridge and the Wetlands.

In 2005, Rebecca worked with Rep. Artur Davis (AL – 07) and ran his re-election campaign. From 2000-2004, Rebecca's family lived in Denver, Colorado, where she worked with Linhart McClain Finlon (LMF) Public Relations and Qwest Communications, respectively. While at Linhart, Rebecca was a senior account executive who worked with clients, including Xcel Energy, Einstein Bagel, and Johns Manville. At Qwest, Rebecca served as a spokesperson and communications manager for a four-state area that covered Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Wyoming.

Rebecca is married to Grant Tennille. They live in Little Rock and are raising their three children: William, Sarah, and Annie. William is a junior at Denison University, and the girls attend Episcopal Collegiate School in Little Rock.

Although a transplant, Rebecca is proud to call Arkansas home and equally proud to call the Hogs.
